Craft & Materials
Where Craft Becomes Architecture
At Doné, craftsmanship is a calling — the meeting of precision, patience and poetry.
Each piece is handmade to order by our small atelier of fourth-generation Turkish artisans whose knowledge of leather and shearling has been passed down through generations.
Every garment begins not with design sketches but with touch: the feel of the shearling, the texture of the suede, the weight of the leather in the hand. The process is slow and deliberate. Each cut is measured, each seam considered, until structure and softness exist in perfect balance.
Materials with Integrity
Doné works exclusively with ethically sourced, fully traceable leathers and shearlings, including Merino, Toscana, Suede and Lambskin. Each is a natural by-product of the food industry that would otherwise go to waste.
Our materials are treated using vegetable-based dyes and low-impact, non-toxic tanning methods, preserving both their natural beauty and the planet that provides them.
The result is outerwear of enduring quality — coats that evolve with time and carry the life of the wearer within them.
A Conscious Approach
Nothing at Doné is mass produced. Every piece is made to order, honouring the rhythm of slow creation and ensuring nothing is made without purpose.
This commitment to craftsmanship is an act of respect: for the artisans, for the materials and for the women who wear them.
Each Doné coat is designed to endure, a reflection of quiet strength, modern grace and the belief that true luxury is intention made tangible.
"True luxury is intention. The patience to create something worth keeping."
